Matt Krause

Michigan-born and Florida-based singer-songwriter Matt Krause blends country, folk, rock, Americana, and modern favorites into an engaging, soulful live experience. With acoustic guitar, piano, harmonica, and looping, Matt brings a versatile mix of original music and crowd-favorite covers to stages throughout Southwest Florida.

Matt recently released his debut album, Love & Other Drugs, a deeply personal collection of songs exploring love, loss, recovery, relationships, loneliness, and hope.

Alongside his solo career, Matt performs duo shows with his talented girlfriend Roxy, combining soulful vocals with a tasteful jazzy sound, and is a founding member of The Flood Brothers, a Southwest Florida Americana band blending country, rock, folk, and classic influences.

Love & Other Drugs is the debut album from Michigan-born, Florida-based singer-songwriter Matt Krause — a deeply personal collection of songs about love, loss, addiction, loneliness, healing, and hope.

Blending Americana, folk, country, and rock influences with honest storytelling and a raw, intimate songwriting style, the album explores the complicated ways we search for connection and try to find our way back to ourselves. From the heartbreak of letting someone go to the uncertainty of starting over, Love & Other Drugs embraces both the beautiful and painful sides of being human.

Written from a place of lived experience and reflection, these songs aren't about having all the answers — they're about asking the questions, facing the past, and finding something worth holding onto.
